Project overview

The Nyngan to Cobar Pipeline Stage 1 project will upgrade pumping infrastructure in the Nyngan to Cobar Water Supply System to provide long term water supply reliability and water security for the region.

The project will replace and upgrade Nyngan and Cobar storages pump stations. Nyngan Pump Station failed in 2019 and is not economically viable to repair, and Cobar Storages Pump Station is at the end of its useable life.
